Teen boys and bling

Just wondering, has anybody else picked up on how popular bling is with teen lads of a certain stamp now? I see loads around with chains, bracelets and in particualr lots of rings. I often notice some wearing 4 or 5! In Bristol anyway, wondering about elsewhere in the country?

I'm in Bristol and haven't noticed that at all. I'm guessing trends can be localised

I suppose it is rings mainly. I guess 4 or 5 is a bit less common than I implied but certainly 2-3 pretty common.

I am not in Bristol but haven't seen any at all. I have two teenage boys and they don't wear rings, neither do their friends. Dd2's boyfriend wears a chain but that is unusual as I haven't observed anyone else wear any jewellery.

Yep my eighteen year old has a bracket and a chain that has captains ship wheel on 🤷‍♀️. Take me back to the 80s - chaps brackets and belcher chains. Who knows the sovereign ring may make a comeback!

It may be the early days of a fashion trend coming round again or it may be gang affiliation.

Never seen this I'm Manchester. Lots of tracksuits and little man bags though.
