Any well-written, factual, funny books for young pre- and teens who aren’t daft but, it has become apparent, have some glaring gaps in knowledge?
I think I was fairly clued up by 13 but I can’t quite remember how - some combination of reading grown up magazines, papers and a puberty book my parents got by Teletext agony uncle Nick Fisher, which was excellent.
What do they have now? Anything free of gender identity bollocks especially welcome
