Teen boys joggers help please?!

I cannot find tracksuit bottoms to fit my 12 year old, and really need advice from anyone with a similar issue.

He will only wear black "dri fit" style ones like in the photo, ie the shiny type material not jogger/sweatshirt type material.

He is approx 5'8", and is now too tall for Nike kids size XL. I have tried dozens of different styles/brands in the largest kids or small/medium mens and nothing fits his dimensions! He is very slim, so mens small seem too big on the waist, ok in length, but bizarrely super tight round the ankles!

We are getting by over summer by living in shorts regardless of our weather, but I am worried about autumn.

Does anyone know of any brands that go to say age 17/18 to keep the right dimensions, or any mens brands that are not tight on the ankle?!??!

Have a look on ASOS as they quite often do XS in men’s sizes. Also JD Sports also do XS in men’s sometimes. My DS is 5’8 and very very slim (like 50kg) and he’s recently graduated from XS to S in men’s sizes.

Ds got some from my protein and they are very slim fit but long. Ds is 6ft3. We got them in the sale.

Boohoo man? My ds like an oversized fit so I buy a mans size small but they do an xs that might do.

My 5'8 skinny teen has had sucess with XS men's - tho they are limited in range.
Fit him better than any kids clothes ever did - tho tracksuit bottoms are still tricky!
