For anyone whose teen is going through a rough time, especially with friends, because lord knows it can be heartbreaking. Just before last summer break, my son's whole friend group abruptly and seemingly without cause dumped him. He was so unhappy & spent pretty much all summer in his room, sad, lonely, and angry. He was so difficult to be around, and honestly, my heart broke for him. How much can change in a yr. He's just finished grade 11 ( I'm a Brit living in North America ). He got fantastic grades, he's got himself a job, and he's just left for a 4 day hiking and camping trip with 3 lads that he's formed a great friendship with over this school year. The smile on his face when he left was a mile wide. Today, I'm a very proud mum, just wanting to share a little positivity that if your teen is struggling, it does get better, and they will find their people eventually,however hard it seems right now. Have faith in them.
