Just me and my 15 year old DD for Bank Holiday Monday. We're in London, but feel like we've overdone Oxford St, Covent Garden, Camden, etc.

Can anyone recommend something cool and laid back we can do?

The V&A is amazing. The Divas exhibition was great. Not sure if it's still on. The gallery itself is fantastic.

Framed is supposed to be a brilliant exhibit. At Marble Arch.

We also loved the War Museum. I say we, they were happy enough. We have an agreement that I can only stand around in bloody Brandi Melville etc for a certain period and then we have to do something that isnt shopping.

Shoreditch, theatre/matinee if there are any on a Monday? Greenwich, river boat, Tate Modern, the cafe atop the Waterstones near Piccadilly, Notting Hill, Brick lane for lunch?

Get an Uber boat from embankment down to Greenwich and visit the market, walk up to the observatory and chill in the parks, lovely views. Visit the Painted Hall.

Climb the O2.

Go to Borough Market for lunch then walk along the southbank. Could see what’s on at the tate, do a guided tour of the globe or just enjoy pottering around.

National Portrait Gallery has recently re-opened. If your DD is doing history GCSE or even if she watched 'Horrible Histories' then it might be of interest.

Lovely portrait of Dame Judi Dench too to see.

Second the V&A. My daughter loves the fashion collection there.

Fabulous ideas! Thank you! Definitely thinking Brick Lane and Shoreditch. But also keen on the V&A. Thank you!!!

I took my teen to Greenwich last year. The markets, cutty sark, riverboat down to cable cars. Walking Tunnel under the Thames to Isle of Dogs, some of the pubs for nice lunches etc. we also did observatory, parks and naval museum grounds. We'd been to a concert the night before so crammed alot in the following day but it would've been nice to spread it out over a couple of days
