Has anyone had any issues in getting a provisional license for their teenager after them seeking help?? My son is doing incredibly well now but when he applied for his driving license he was refused due to poor mental health and cannabis "misuse" being on his medical file, they want to see 3 months mental health stability and 6 months free from "misuse and dependency" I am trying to appeal it as he never had a dependency, he was asked HAD he ever used weed and he said yes, and is now being treated for depression (been on medication since February) I understand the 3 months on medication, but that 3 months ends in May, but it's the 6 months, how can we prove he hasn't been using the past 6 months, or is it tough luck 6 months starts from now?? I'm gutted for him
