Find my iPhone on teen phone?

Quick question - do you use the find my iPhone (or similar) on your teen’s phone for safety reasons? Particularly interested in perspectives from London where kids are travelling on their own to school on public transport.

if you do, what do you do if your child turns it off?

It's a condition of the phone in my house

I have three teens. I have Find my iPhone for all of them, but I rarely use it. So they know I don't use it just to check up on them, but only if I'm genuinely worried about where they are.

If one of them switched it off, I wouldn't force them to switch it back on, I'd just explain why I would like them to and hope for the best!
