Oh wise mumsnetters please help me find a movie to watch with my B&G teens. We recently watched Notting Hill and they both loved it but I'm running out of ideas?!

All suggestions gratefully received.

Fighting with my Family starring Florence Pugh is a real feel-good British film with a bit of everything. It's about wrestling but you don't have to like wrestling to enjoy it. It's a great underdog story, pretty inspiring for teens both male and female. It's a true story too.

Depending on their age, Death at a Funeral (the one with Peter Dinklage) is hilarious. Not so much feel good tho, just funny.

If they are old enough have they watched The Green Mile ?

I watched it with ds when he was around 15-16 and it was the first movie he really cried at. Brilliant movie and some outstanding acting, one of my favourites.

Watched asteroid city last night.....weird as but strangely compelling. Also the Shawshank redemption is absolutely brilliant in my opinion

If they liked Notting Hill and Julia Roberts then Erin Brockovich is quite good (a bit older will some sexual innuendo say maybe age 14-15).

I've just watched Damsel on Netflix, it turned out to be a really good film with Millie Bobby brown , I'd recommend it for a good family view .
