Ideas for "Reading (festival) survival box" for Xmas present

I have got my DS 16 a Reading festival ticket for Xmas (hope I don't regret it but he hasn't stopped going on about it!) and am looking for ideas for a "survival box" as an inexpensive, jokey present to go with it. The ticket cost enough so don't want to go overboard and it's a bit of a jokey one. So far I have loo roll, wet wipes, hand sanitizer. He has a battery pack. Looking for other ideas that don't cost much. Hit me with your fab ideas please.

Do they have a sleeping bag? Some ration type stuff, snacks, you could put some tokens in for cash/ bank transfer closer to the time?

GreyDuck · 21/12/2023 22:24

Crisps. He'll need some food to soak up the booze.

Condoms.
something to keep his ID safe as at 16 he will need to prove he is 16 to get in without an adult
phone chargers and spare leads- my lad run out of charge, also lost his phone
think there was a coop inside so maybe coop vouchers as my son said it was really expensive even in the coop
portbale speaker
a small man bag to walk round with with valuables in, cross body maybe.

Glitter……..must be biodegradable tho.
Also a flag to put on top of their tent, so he can identify it when staggering back.

Imodium 😂

A promise to buy a silent disco pass nearer the time. He might scoff now but was the highlight of my DS trip last year.

chickenpieandchips · 22/12/2023 09:05

And as for phone charge you can pay £20 or something and you can get a fresh battery pack each day.
