Pocket money and chores?

What type of chores around the house/garden do your older teens have to do? Thinking 15yo.

Also do they get pocket money, how much and is it linked to chores/behaviour?

I never linked pocket money to jobs or behaviour.

I think everyone living in the house should contribute something towards it running smoothly.

At 15, mine were responsible for their own rooms (generally at that age, it meant they were a tip, but that was fine - it was their own mess). They all cooked a meal for the family each week. When not cooking, they were expected to either lay the table, and get everyone a drink, or to unload the dishwasher or do some washing up if some were waiting.
Then respond appropriately to the odd request to make a cuppa or go and get the rubbish from bins around the house, or put the recycling out, but those weren't fixed.

Mine are adults now, so their pocekt money amounts don't really relate to 2023, but we were always on the low end of the 'how much ?' question at the time.

Ds never did specific chores but would do his bit whether it was the dishwasher, vacuuming or helping with dinner etc. I never saw the point of allocating and leaving chores for one person to do especially when we were at home at different times. He kept his own room clean, did his own laundry and bedding, cleared up after himself in shared areas and contributed to other tasks. He was taught everyone in the house helps out from much younger than teen years and it was never linked to pocket money.

At 15 he got £120/month allowance which included paying for school lunches, giff gaff phone, barbers etc.
