My teen DD has social anxiety after some bullying last year. She really struggles to interact with other teens. She recently started therapy. I think the therapist is going to do CBT and exposure therapy.
My DD is worried that the therapy may not work, I'm telling her it will, but I'm worried it may not work!
Does anyone have any positive similar experiences they could share? How long does it take to see an improvement? She does have a couple of close friends so isn't completely isolated but she doesn't speak much at all to others so her world is quite small.
