Period pants/washable pads for dd - recommendations

I’m looking for recommendations for period pants for my dd, neither of us are keen to use disposable pads as they are environmentally unfriendly.

Ive had a look on Amazon and a lot of them advise wearing a pad as well as the pants which seems to defeat the object!

I know modibodi are popular but they are very expensive and she is still growing so hoping for some ideas that won’t break the bank!

Cheeky wipes do pants and my DDs like them.

dd loves wuka. If you register they do have offers but they're still expensive. A friend says Asda are good

I use both m&s and primark.

Modi bodi

Modibodi have been the best period pants I've tried, but Luna by TU are much cheaper. I do use a reusable pad with them but mainly for flooding. Pads are from Honor Your Flow.

M and S - look out for buy 2 get 1 free offers online. Wash well and are comfortable. I ride my horses in mine too to highly recommend.

Agree with previous. Dd loves both modi bodi and M&S. she sometimes uses a reusable pad with them for school, as easier for changing to take the pad off and pants ready underneath.

Primark and M&S

We have tried a few brands. My daughter prefers WUKA best she's just turned 12. They have some stretchy ones for teens covering 3 sizes.

Mobidobi

I have to say I love modi body they last really well

Luxury Moon has a great selection and I think they do teen pads. Not cheap but my pads have lasted for upwards of 10 years now

Modibodi. They last a full school day with no need to change until DD is home at 4pm.

I tried M&S and can't really rate them. Far too thin for me. But I had heavy periods and flod an overnight Modibodi one night.

I've not used period pants but I've used cheeky wipes reusable pads for years now and really rate them

I have Ohne ones and they are quite good
