My daughter does get spots on her face, I don't think it's that bad but it does get her down. Could anyone recommend good products that work, or shall I take her to see dermatologist or gp? She uses cerave range of products and spot patches that she puts on. I told her how she should be using her products but bit concerned she maybe over using the creams etc to rid of spots

Acnecide range in pharmacies is very good

There’s a wash and a cream, all three of my teens used it for a few years each, helped a lot!

Can be a little drying, use a moisturiser in addition

Body shop Tea Tree wash and serum are excellent. My daughter also puts Sudocreme on spotty areas. Her skin has cleared up significantly since doing this. Might be coincidence as she's getting a bit older, but something is working.

The gp will usually first prescribe a cream or gel & if that doesn't work a 3/6 month course of tablets.
The pill can also help for teenage girls.

As mentioned by another poster Acnecide is great. Cleared up one of mines acne within a couple of weeks.
