Found daughter's LSD, how to talk to her about it?

My daughter is 17, I was aware she was interested in this type of drugs - she's argued for their "psychological benefits" but I'd never thought she'd actually use them.

Yesterday I was looking for something in the basement and in one drawer I found an envelope that had her name on it and there was a small sheet of LSD paper inside. After doing some research I came to the conclusion she'd ordered a (then still legal) analogue or "pro drug" of it that has essentially the same effects. The plastic bag that contained it said "not for human consumption", though! Could it be a research chemical that is potentially more dangerous? As I said, thankfully it didn't have a noticeable effect on her.

One corner was missing so she has taken one already and hid the rest there to keep it cool? No idea why else she wouldn't just hide it in her room.

I don't recall anything weird about her behaviour lately, so I think she was with friends when she took it, that's likely because she doesn't often come home, she lives at boarding school.

How do I confront her about it? Would it be wise to just leave it there or take it away so that she doesn't consume more of it?

Take it away. Take it to the police and ask for them to test it, if you're that concerned, otherwise bin it.
