DD(17) is struggling with making decisions but part of it is being worried about what others think.
As an example, I suggested she looks around Oxford Uni on an open day. It turns out that she is reluctant as she's worried she'll see someone else she knows who would question if she's clever enough etc.
After joking that she'd happily go in disguise, I said it would help in life generally if she could try and work on this and she said she'd happily go on a course or similar.
Can anyone recommend either a book, course or perhaps therapy/any other ideas? She has a part time job and is confident talking to customers (as there is a specific reason to do so). I suspect it will improve with age?
