DD12 insecure of her legs

Hi all,
Im not really sure what to do at the moment. My DD has expressed her concerns over wanted to shave her legs and I just don’t feel comfortable giving her a razor and telling her to get on with it. I only started when I was 15 and we both have dark, thick hair so it does get noticeable on our skin. I do feel for her but I can’t help but wonder if maybe someone from school is saying stuff to her. What are your thoughts, should I let her?

Let her. I had a friend at school who wasn't allowed and she was picked on relentlessly.

Me and dd both use Venus razors. She's never cut herself. Dd was actually shaving before I realised (she used mine!!). Don't drag her off to have her legs waxed if she doesn’t want to. My dm did that to me and I absolutely hated it.

My Granddaughter has been having her legs waxed since she was 12. She plays sports, and was embarrassed about her hairy legs. I can't see the problem, or why you would make your daughter wait

I would start her with an epilator rather than shaving. They've come a long way since the slow torture of the early ones; get a decent one and it's a bit of discomfort rather than pain and she'll get weeks of no hair and lighter regrowth after time.

Please let her. Either shave or hair removal cream. My mum wouldn't let me shave my legs or armpits as a young teenager and it was awful. I ended up doing it on the sly with my Dads old Bic razors and cutting myself to bits because I don't know what I was doing.
