Time after finishing GCSE’s

Hi all

My daughter is due to take her GCSE’s next year and I know they finish at the end of June. Are they free from school after that? I guess they’d return for their prom/end of year leaving party whatever.

I was thinking of taking my DD on holiday once she’s finished. I’ll probably ask the school anyway but wondered what others have done once your teen has/had finished their exams.

My ds had official last day of school on June 16th but last exam was June 23rd. He has then got 6th form tasters two days this week, his leavers bbq on 4th July, a mental health course that week (his choice) and prom on 15th July so even though he is finished he doesn't actually have a completely empty week where we could have gone away if we had wanted to!!
