13 year old boyfriends house

My 13 year old allegedly has a boyfriend, same year as her, haven't met him but trust her. She wants to go to his house. Do i let her? From what she's said he's a nice lad, and have given her the talk. She is sensible and knows her boundaries. I know 13 is young, but i do trust her. Should i let her go?

Only if there are responsible adults in his house while she is there. I would also want to meet him.

Perhaps he could come to her house first? (And if she demurs at that, you ask her what she thinks they could do at his house that they can't do at hers...)

From the parent of a teenage boy, I'd say yes if you trust her. It's no different to him coming to your house. Boys aren't any worse than girls.

No, and as the Mum of two teens it is utter folly to 'trust' then. Love them, listen to them, have interesting conversations, given them options, ask them what they want. Trust them - no. Their brains are basically toddler brains, not set up trust
