So Dd aged 14 was seeing a lad , Her first bf . They broke up bc I wad not happy about his stealing activities and wandering . He came to our house lots no problem .

She saw other boys aft him but I don't think she felt the same abt them

Now she says they have been chatting and want to get back together . I'm pleased she is talking to me and not going behind my back but ,,,,,,,

If you ban her she'll just see him behind your back.

You are asking the wrong question. You shouldn’t be asking if it’s a dealbreaker for a teen relationship, you should be asking how to get your dd help.
