I had my son when I was 15, got all the stereotypical comments about how I've destroyed my life.

Fast forward a few years I've done well in a professional job and my son has just had his mock GCSE's returned. All grade 7s (old style A)

I always put myself down and made myself feel low thinking how could I have raised him better, when all along I've raised a clever little sod. I've done something right!

A message to all you mums who are hard on yourselves... carry on your doing great, their not as bad as we think 🙃

Lovely to hear something positive and well done you. I'm hanging in there 💖

How wonderful OP - congratulations to both you and your son. It's so nice to read this; as a single mum I worry constantly that I will screw them up somehow by not being enough / doing enough, though I try not to show it. We have to give our children credit though that they are strong and capable people in themselves. Your son has proven that - what a happy day for you both x

Lovely to read. Well done to both of you.

Hi please can someone help i need advice I'm having problems with my teen 15yr old
We keep having full blown arguments over curfew and I don't trust her judgement she hands around kids who smoke n drink. What should a curfew be for week days considered we live 45min to n hr away from her friends.

Sorry to hear that but suggest you'd be best starting your own thread for this.

I became a mum at 19 and had my others @21,22&24.

I might have been a young mum but I've raised 4 well rounded polite kids, who have done well at school. So proud of them all.
