Does the family planning clinic still exist?

DD wants to start on the pill but getting a GP appointment is impossible at the moment!
When I was a teen you could go to a family planning clinic without an appointment but I’ve googled and can’t find anything. Do they go by a new name these days or does the service no longer exist?
Thanks

I think they are called sexual health clinics now but I think you need an appointment these days.

They've closed in our town. Only one is 20 mins drive and no public transport on when they're open. Totally underfunded service.

Our local one still has a drop in for young people. One of my dds was able to get an implant.

It's one of the the things they weeded up the underpinnings for in about 2018 and has been baffling ever since. It moved under the public health umbrella (and therefore became a council issue)

If you are lucky, they have contracted GPs to continue to provide the service (we're lucky ours does), and even if they no longer do it themselves (much, or at all) GPs should still be able to signpost local services
