Dd ordered wine for me

It was my birthday recently and dd15 bought me a bottle of wine - she ordered it online and ticked the “over 18” box.
She said normally she’d have asked her dad to order it (we’re separated) but as he’s moving soon didn’t want it to end up at the wrong address.
I know her heart was in the right place , just a bit cross with her for lying about her age.
I’m as sure as I can be she wouldn’t buy alcohol for herself and if she wants an occasional smell drink at home, I’m fine with it.
Any thoughts?

I swear I read this exact post about 4 years ago.

I'm getting a definite sense of deja vu about this thread...

I really think you’re missing the point and being deeply ungrateful.

I agree and feel really sorry for your DD that she tried to do something nice for you.
She’ll soon realise not to bother trying and then you’ll be moaning you didn’t get anything.

I’m more concerned about the company that would leave an order that requires an age check on the doorstep than any daughter.

We don’t know that they didn’t - OP doesn’t say whether it was signed for.

Didn't you post about this a few months ago? I definitely read something almost identical

Under UK law in your own home it's legal to drink at your dd current age, I think it's where you have to be 18 to buy the alcohol.

I ordered some calvados for Christmas recently and found the bottle on the doorstep this morning. I think it's probably the delivery guys ignoring instructions as they are so overwhelmed rather than the seller.

OP, your DD is very kind and you should be grateful.

Seems a bit ungrateful to me, she was trying to do something nice.

OP said in her post yesterday evening that it was left on the doorstep.
