16 yo DD and sleepover with boys?

DD, 16, has asked if she can sleep over at a male friends house- there will be her and another boy (so 3 of them) they want to watch films! Would you allow it? We don't these boys or their parents- they're relatively new friends of hers.

Blimey this seems amazingly strict to me. By 16 I was staying out generally where I wanted to. She is being open and is surely going to be securely active if she wants to be.

Surely just that they are a gang of mates?

I'm presuming this boy has parents at his house! I'm struggling to see a real problem to be honest- both boys are only 16, I'd be more worried if they were significantly older than her but they are the same age. I've met the boy whose house it is briefly- he seemed like a nice kid- I liked him straight away.

I'm curious as to what age people think it would be OK to allow her to sleep out where boys are involved?

I wouldn't think it was that boys were involved as the problem. At 16 I had a mixed friendship group and we had sleepovers together but I just think the dynamics of two boys and one girl is a bit weird, and I wouldn't be comfortable with it for my own daughter.
