Anyones teens not have a game console??

Just wondered if there is anyone on here whose kids do not have a games console. Mine are 15 and 14 and show no interest whatsoever. They have phones and watch a lot of you tube. I have friends who can't get their kids off them so feel very lucky but haven't come across any one in real life with older kids or teens who don't have consoles.

DSS now 20 never had one, never asked for one. My other 3 are not getting one even if they ask. I’d rather they exercised outdoors and got as mush fresh air as possible. To be fair they’ve never asked and because they’ve never really been exposed to it, they don’t know what they’re missing.

I spent far, far too much time playing computer games as a kid that I won’t make that same mistake with my children.

But they can do both? They can’t be outdoors all the time. And a variety of indoor activities is great. Gaming is much better than being constantly slumped in front of a tv.

We have a PS4 and an X box. While they do use them, I wouldn’t say they are gamers and certainly aren’t glued to them all the time. Dd1 probably uses it more as a way to watch Netflix in her room.

17 and 19. Never had a console.

Both play lots of sport + the older one does lots of music as well.
