I have a teen daughter desperate to buy an (overpriced) hoodie from some youtuber's merch site. I've looked at two such sites now and they both seem to have weird sizing. It uses S, M, L etc. But when you click on their sizing guide, it gives measurements for width and length in inches, which seem enormous. Eg 22 inches for the XS width. That's far too small to be a standard chest measurement - I'm guessing these are just measuring straight across the width of the garment, not measuring around the circumference of the person's body. Is that how they measure hoodies these days?
Sorry this is such a boring query, but these things cost a lot and I don't want to buy the wrong size and it turns out to be too small or too big.
