How much for 15yo to charge for babysitting?

DD has her first babysitting gig this week (to her utter delight) and she’s been asked what she charges.

As Covid put paid to any previous babysitting for her and her friends, they have no idea what’s reasonable to charge.

It’s 2.5 hours with a Reception age child while his parents WFH upstairs. We’re in a pretty middle class area in Yorkshire.

What’s the going rate?

£20=£8 per hour. I'm sure they'll pay.

I’d pay £20 for 2.5 hours.

Am I the only person who thinks a 15 year old should not be being employed to take care of a 5 year old during the day?

Whyever not ?
They will be gaining experience at looking after younger dc, whilst not having the full responsibility for them. Sounds ideal though both mine had done some bits of babysitting on their own at 15
