Dd's friend is dabbling in weed

A friend of dd's (boy) has been saying that he uses weed. He has apparently taken some this evening in the park which he got from hid friend's older brother. His voice does sound very slurry and almost undecipherable at times (heard him on the phone). Am tempted to call Police - what do you think?

no i definitely wouldn't call the police ...in fact iw ouldn't do anything..presumably your dd has told you and it would be a bit of a betrayal of trust for something not that serious imo

if it concerns you ther are more helpful ways of following up

what age is dds friend? Could you let his parents know? Are you considering police because you are worried that he is stoned and not somewhere safe or do you want him to get in trouble for it?

I guess the most important thing right now is that he is safe. did your dd tell you because she is worried? if so good on her (and you for having the relationship where she could!)

i wouldnt say anything. As long as your kid isn't using it too.
