Just that really. DS is 16 next week. We are getting a click and collect meal from a local restaurant but otherwise we are struggling to think how to make it a good day.
DS is looking very glum about it all.

Virtual escape room or make one at home

It's very diffiult at the moment - we've just gone to Tier 4 and my DS has a birthday soon and I was looking - all I could see was horse riding and golf but no horse riding places operating by us. Found a safari park operating but not in our area and he's probably bit old for that. I'ld be tempted to push back 6 months and just get nice cake, food and drink in.

Thanks for the ideas. Actually, when he was little we always waited 6 months and had his party in the summer, as this is a rubbish week to have a birthday at the best of times. Maybe we should consider that again.

Have a family party and tell him to plan something with his friends when lockdown ends give him something to look forward too.
Say if there was no lockdown what would you want to do
My dd is 16 in February and she is getting a bedroom makeover as can't go anywhere
