Older Teenage boy fashion

Please could people tell me what clothing brands older Teenage boys are wearing. My boy is so self conscious but doesn't understand fashion. I want to buy him the 'right' clothes so he can feel more confident. Any help would be so appreciated.

Place marking. My son loathes obviously branded stuff. Really finding it hard to find bottoms that aren't skinny/slim or trackies!

No obviously branded stuff - except for trainers - which should be plain and white - ds wears hi tops because he's tall. Hoodies, t shirts and combats with puffa coat, apparently skinny jeans are now a no.

Combats are regional? Never seen any of DS's friends in those or other teens in the shopping centre.
