Ds is 14. Showered this morning and came back from school really smelly.
Wondering if an antibacterial soap bar would be more effective?
Uses Sure Men's deodorant, clean clothes every day

Definitely proper soap (not Dove- it's solid detergent rather than soap) and one of those mesh puffs. Also get him to wash his armpits with soap twice whenever he showers. Shower gel doesn't clean as well, and can leave a film that stops deodorant from working propeely.

My teenage DSs do that, and use Right Guard deodorant (Lynx doesn't work) and they never smell. I'd also recommend Halo sports wash for sweaty clothes.

I'm having a similar problem with my daughter. She showers and uses deodorant but within a couple of hours she stinks. Can anyone recommend a good bar soap ?

Does she use 48h stick deodorant? If she uses proper soap (probably the cheaper the better, without added moisturiser etc) with a loofah and stick deodorant afterwards on dry pits she shouldn't be able to stink. If she has any chubby bits putting stick deodorant where any skin touches skin is a good idea too.

Teenagers do stink. Id make sure he puts deodorant on at night as well as morning and shower daily and fresh top obviously,
