Hello . My son is in year 11 and has gynaecomastia enlarged breast tissue nipple on one side side. He is supposed to have swimming at school and is very conscious of it . We went to the doctor about 2 years ago and they said he would grow out of it. He is 15 and a half and I think the only option is surgery as the nipple really stands out lot . The other side is inverted . The teacher has said he could wear a t shirt in the pool if he wanted to or do a different sport in pe. He is a good swimmer and loves swimming but is very worried about it . What would you do re the school ? Is he eligible to have surgery on the Nhs? Thank you
