I have some clean socks and stuff that she left at ours (boring!!!) and want to send her a bit of a treat too, but my mind has gone completely blank. Any ideas?!!

M&s vouchers.

Tottie32 · 28/09/2007 18:05

hot water bottle

Whooosh · 28/09/2007 18:05

Ditto Carmenere!

beansprout · 28/09/2007 18:06

M&S is a good suggestion - she can get tights or posh food - it's a win/win!!

Candles, joss sticks etc are banned in their halls. Fings aint wot they used to be.

How about clothes vouchers and some homemade cake, biscuits etc?

SpawnChorus · 30/09/2007 09:54

Lush vouchers?

beansprout · 30/09/2007 09:55

She has a bit of an eating disorder, so while I would love to receive a cake in the post, it might not be the best thing for her...

Does anyone know if there is a Lush in Brighton?

there used to be a Lush in B'ton when I lived there. Sure there must still be.

leakyR · 30/09/2007 10:17

Lush in Brightonon East Sreet. Would be a good option if as you say shes a bit of a hippy with food issues.

My daughter at uni would be delighted with money or vouchers, you could get vouchers for Tony and Guy for a haircut or whatever.

SignificantMother · 02/10/2007 15:04

Phone credit and fairy lights - every girl needs those!
Hope she is happy there

MaureenMLove · 02/10/2007 15:13

How about an A-Z of the local area, asuming that she's somewhere she doesn't know that is! Or a Wha'ts On type book of the area.

Amethyst8 · 03/10/2007 14:37

Toiletries - nice ones. Especially if she is short of cash.
