DD's periods started

Hi everyone
DD who is 12 yo got her first periods. Experienced mums please give suggestion. DD seems to be a bit nervous though am making her feel relaxed .

What is wrong with some of you? I don't have a daughter but if I did I would probably be a bit confused about what products to use as I don't use pads. Goodness paranoid much?

Not paranoid here, I was just a bit surprised that having a daughter OP hadn't prepared for this. I thought most parents realised they were supposed to buy these things before their DD started.

No posters are right..... it’s quite personal and secondly it’s not rocket science is it?. Once you’ve given child birth! You can surely advise your daughter on pads we all know the main ones. To request changing diet
