As mending a toy when ds was little.

Massive boy child (6’1” 13 ds) just sat with tears streaming down his face because his best friend is being horrid (I heard his friend talking to ds over the Xbox). Really wish it was as easy to fix as putting a wheel back on a truck

My DD15 has her first real broken heart, I don't know how to fix it for her. I also wish it was as easy as fixing a broken toy.

Lots of understanding and lots if listening, validating their feelings also helps Thanks

It’s crap and all we can do is sympathise and advise. My older dd is quite good at giving ds advice on this sort of thing.
Both my ds and dd have been through best friend issues and heartbreak over the years.

Agree it’s shit, their pain is our pain. Sending you hugs!

Wish I could say it got easier.
Have helped a ds through a relationship breakdown with a dc involved.
And helped a dc back over a bridge railing...

Bring back teen years...
Stay strong mners.
Dm hood is a minefield...

You’re only as happy as your happiest child. So true.
