Can’t believe how tall ds13 is

Hi, this is my first post :)
Ds age 13 and 4 months has been taller than me for a while now. We measured him last night for PE top and he’s just over 6’1!!! Even more surprising is his inside leg, 36 inches. Most shops stop at 34.
So my question to you is how tall were your kids at 13, and how tall did they end up?

I can absolutely believe you! My son was 13 in May and has been taller than me for a good year or so now. Not sure how tall he is but we've brought jeans recently and he was a 32 leg and he's a size 8 shoe!!

It's not so much height...although DS14 is just 6ft - but he takes a size 12 shoe!

They are bloody difficult (and expensive) to track down. Why don't shoe manufacturers make bigger sizes? Kids are getting taller.

I have a 14 yr old who’s 6ft and size 10 shoe. Skinny as a rake hard finding jeans in a 26/36 lol

@BloodyhellMartha Ds is shoe size 11 at the moment. It’s huge pain to find school shoes, where do you get them from?

Hoping ds might stop growing soon. He started puberty early i think. His feet haven’t grown for nearly a year and he’s starting to get a little bit of chest hair, so fingers crossed

Hi @Slimpotato1 - Clarks will do a Size 12 in men's - but you either take the luck of the draw or have to order online. Ours came from Amazon this year.

My friends Ds was 6'1 at 13
He is now 6'6 with size 14 feet at the age of 21

Mine was just over six feet tall at that age but he didn't grow any taller. A friend of mine had a son of 6' 7"!

@arewedone wow! How old is she now? I bet that was a nightmare trying to find clothes
Are other people’s sons just really tall or did they also start puberty early. I think ds is coming towards the end of puberty but not really sure. I’m assuming chest hair is one of the final changes?

My DS 13 is 5ft 0, and in a size 6 shoe. No signs of puberty that I know of yet.

My ds was 6ft at 13, is now 17 and is 6ft 4, size 13 shoe, he was like a skinny rake at 13 but now he has filled out a lot and looks like a beautiful little tiny angel still a.proper bloke all of a sudden. People often think he's in his mid 20s.

He had the most horrendous growing pains for a good couple of years

@Slimpotato1 she’s almost 17, size 8 feet but and size 6/8 clothes so very skinny. She’s hated being tall for years with all the usual cliched comments. Only this year has she embraced her height and accepted she will never be the petite cute girl!

Sports direct do kangol shoes up to a size 15. My son is 13 and a size 11, I'm hoping he slows down!

My ds is 13 and 6'. He should end up at 6'5 ish. DH is 6'3, I'm 5'9 and all DH's family are tall - ds's tallest cousin is 6'8

DD summer born 13 so just 13 and measured at 5’10 at the hospital last week size 8.5 shoe.

She is a human dustbin, never stops eating, growing at a rate of knots - long and lean.

DS is 13 next month. 5'4 and size 8 feet. After reading the other replies I realise I've got off lightly so far!

@Slimpotato1 haha my ds is 16 and 4'6 ! They come in all shapes and sizes don't they :-)

13 year old son here but 5 ft 2. Just gone into size 8 shoes though so I sense a height growth coming on
