DS is very disorganised. I have just had a look at his folders and these are a holy mess. Scraps of paper, odd sheets (never dated), god knows what...

He has exams coming up and I need to get my foot on his backside!

I got him to go through his folders and get things in order. The school seems to rely on giving handouts and there are very notes. Some lessons don’t even use textbooks 😐.

I want to help him get him organised!

how old is he? CGP books are great for KS3 and upwards. they have 10 minute test books which are fab, link. what subjects don't use textbooks? you can buy some online x

He is 14. I’m looking at his Latin and it’s a mystery to me.

CGP or letts have been essentials for revision
We have the same issue with worksheets. 9/10 are folded in four and filed in his blazer pocket Hmm
His exercise books have headings and no notes Shock
Text books are a thing of the past.
BBC bitesize is also helpful.

ok, so presuming he is in year 9? have a look here for textbooks 1 and 2, and here for book 3. they are all the books my daughter used for latin and they have exercises, comprehensions and vocab. does he have textbooks for all other subjects? if so, i would get him to go through them with flashcards like these and make notes. all the best x

He is in year 10 now (summer boy).

I empathise about ‘filing’ - I find wads of notes shoved down the back of bookshelves, in music case, in wardrobe...

‘Why didn’t you file your notes?’
‘I dunno...’

ah ok, so first year of GCSEs. in that case, i would still buy the textbooks i linked above, but also have a look on the CGP website. they have loads of practice workbooks x
