Can't quite relate (ds isn't even 2 yet!) but am sure he'll be fine.

SIL and her friend are with us for the week doing work exp with DH.

Work experience is a big step!! It means they are growing up and becoming young adults - very scarey!!

I think you feel nervous perhaps because he has to go out there in teh big wide world and it can be very daunting for a teen!

I'm sure he'll be fine.

What's he doing for his WE?

My son "worked" at our local airport. Not what he was going to be interested in for a job or anything but they made his week when they gave him a crisp £50 on the Friday!
