My son is obsessed with XBOX. I have tried agreed boundaries with him , but it's always a battle getting him off. He is not going out with his friends and I am sure his school work is suffering. On several occasions I have taken the box away and tempted to chuck it in the bin, but he does talk to his friends on their. I did see a gadget on Amazon called Qtime. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07F73LKTW?tag=mumsnetforum-21. Wondered if anyone else had tried it or something similar?

If its an xbox one, you can set up screen time limits in the family settings

My 17 year old son has started college recently. None of his School friends have gone to the same college. He has recently gone in himself. He does not go out with his friends much and does not message them to meet up. He waits for them to do it.
He also feels anxious a lot and worries about things too much. He is a shy person and finds it hard to make new friends or talk to new people.

I am worried about him. I thought about taking him to the GP about his anxiety. I suffer from this and I know how it feels.
