Advice for teens that can be ‘turned into a song’!

Little Mix are on TV singing ‘Wings’. The line
‘mama told me not to waste my life, she said spread your wings, my little butterfly‘ came on and I asked DD 14 what the best bit of advice I’ve ever given her is.

She said she needs advice she can turn into a song and is now bellowing at me,
“Mama told me keep emergency bus fare!”
“Mama told me cook your chicken well!”
“Mama told me don’t drink cider with hobos!”

She said ‘it’s the last one that I’ll be buying you’
I heard what she said but lost it anyway
And I can’t explain it, the phone just disappearrrred
Now I can’t ring nobody to hang ouuuuut
