DS's skin is getting really yucky. He has quite dry skin and some Keratosis Pilaris (little bumps with white heads) on his cheeks. The thing I am most concerned with though is he has a big blackhead on the side of his nose that I cannot get out. The skin is slightly raised and you can see it underneath the skin. It is not a mole. I have tried to get it out by steaming, sterilised needle and squeezing but it is not budging. I think it is too deep. He also has other blackheads that won't come out that I don't want to get any bigger and turn into another deep one. I've tried steaming, squeezing them, noise strips and they wont come out. His pores seem to small.
I am trying to get him to wash his face with Cetaphil due to the Keratosis and dryness but he won't do it if I am not there. I really look after my own skin and see the benefits and want his to do the same. He has a lovely face 
Any ideas or recommendations? Last night I put a blob of Magnesium Sulphate but not sure if this is safe and/ or how long to do it. I don't want him to end up with loads of deep blackheads and having to have them dug out in a few years. I have thought about taking him to a Dermatologist but they may look at me like I am an over dramatic mum.
