My teen is stealing from us

My son took my partners bank card and has been spending on it! Help! I’ve removed his PS4. But am holding back on taking his phone as I may need a sanction for the next thing! Hes 13. He’s v remorseful but I’m not sure he gets how serious this is?! Any thoughts?

Is this something that's come out of the blue, or has he been behaving differently? What was he spending the money on?

I think you should sit down and have a stern chat about what's happened and say you'll involve the police next time. Or get the police to come over anyway? That might scare him enough.
