Why are teenagers so rude?!?!?!?

Just that really. I got told to "listen up" and to "I'll expect you to do as I've asked, thanks" by a 15 year old today. What the actual fuck?!?! Why are they so rude? My teen might be rude to another child but would never dream of speaking to adults so rudely. Where are children getting this cheek from?!

I rate anyone that works with teenagers, you are a brave bunch! But in all seriousness, I've been lucky enough to have contact with some amazingly supportive staff members at DDs school. They are the reassurance that my child will survive another day.

I think it's wholly rude and unpleasant if you to brand general teenagers with this. Perhaps it is the workings of hormones that makes already rude teenagers worse, but honestly I feel you are much ruder, I know so many kind and caring teenagers and a lot of nasty adults.

I also work with teens and the majority are lovely.

@Fluffysparks what exactly was rude or unpleasant about what I've said? I've made it very clear that I am not branding ALL teenagers but was referring to the specific situation which happened.

That's not the title of your thread...

So??? I posted for advice because I was upset and frustrated, if you can't say anything constructive I don't get the point of your post.
