I know, they are an adult but we can be pissed off with them can't we.
Today we were going on a day out, nothing planned but we were going to. We didn't because of lack of cash due to spending money on stuff for uni and back to school so the DCs all went out with their friends. We arranged at time to collect them but changed it as the youngest had queued for three hours to get into a local attraction and was nearly at the front of the queue at pick up time.
That pissed off the 18 year old who wanted to go uni shopping with me - I was providing the transport, they were paying. It was at a place you can't get to by public transport. They then went off on the train with their friends and I'm collecting them soon. Then they texted me to say they want to go to a party tonight and be back v. late.
When are we actually going to spend any time together?!
