Please help my 12 year old shaved her upper lip

Hi mums...need some help.my DD who is 12 yrs old just told me that sge shaved her upper lip today.The girls in her class have been teasing her for having a moustache and she has been quite upset about it.She doesn't understand that she has made it worse. Can you suggest me how do I fix it ? I would have suggested getting it waxed but she couldnt wait.Please help me....I am getting scared with teenage approaching soon !!

Shaving doesn't make beard growth worse. If it did, why would men be doing it all the time?

Sure, you have to do it every day, which can be a pain, but it is much less painful than waxing or plucking, and cheaper than laser hair removal.

Also, it is reversible. I mean, it is pretty unlikely that she'll one day want to look like Frida Kahlo, but you never know.

I shaved mine when I started having laser hair removal, and then didn't understand why I hadn't thought of it before! And I was 45... I had used Jolen ( which just makes yellow hairs) and Immac, which works but is really easy to get wrong and cause irritation.

If I had a girl who was as hairy as me I'd look into a long term solution such as laser or IPL treatment
