Hi,

Any mums got any advice how to caljool my teen into revision preparation. She finds it very difficult to sit down and read her notes etc, and will do anything to avoid it. I feel that now is the time to take stock of what has to be done for summer exams, but she seems to be in denial. I don't want her to get to May and feel under pressure through lack of preparation. Any advise of how to get her to get down to it, or sites to recommend which are fun and informative.

thanks

I wish I could help. My son is exactly the same. He even walked the dog this afternoon and he NEVER does that.

not sure about any websites but when i did my GCSEs i found them revision books from WHsmiths really good and a lot easier to understand than just reading through my own work and notes - although im probably telling you something you already know!

My daughters have found the CGP ( coordination Group Publications) revision bo0ks good and they were recommended by the school.
You can get them from Smiths and Waterstones and they also have a website where you can order them. The website address is : www.cgpboks.co.uk. Also the BBC GCSE Bitesize revision site is good.
