looking for advice. child of 12, recently started periods, loss of concentration at school led her to "doodling" at school, one of her doodles was found discarded in the classroom, and was very derogatory towards a teacher, first time, unblemished record, no previous school problems. i was appalled at the content. is this grounds for permanent exclusion ?

No one else had this problem ? websites state " exclusion must be fair and proportionate " can one incident where a 12 year old girl "doodles" swear words and gets found out be proportionate ?

Seems a bit OTT IMO. Have you spoken to the school about it?

Its the school that has excluded her, need to attend meeting with the school governors

Hope all goes well but seriously? the school excluded her? How ridiculous. Ive heard of 12/13 year olds doing worse and not getting excluded

Would love some help here, anyone any info/examples of 12 year old girl, "doodles" in class, teacher found her "doodles" very derogatory, "doodles" passed to head teacher, excluded for 5 days followed by permanent exclusion. have to attend disciplinary meeting of Friday and need some help to fight this. Good reports, no history, no past exclusions, first offence.
