Is DD's weight right?

DD is 18 yrs, 5ft 6 and weighs 7st 4lbs. To me she seems fine, she has always been slim (apart from as a baby/toddler). She is about a size 6 in clothes. What's the Mumsnet consensus?

Both mine get remarks on their skinniness, esp DS as he's very slim for his height, but he has been tested and there is nothing wrong with him, he's just a beanpole!

I do agree with you Alicia. I was very surprised when DD once said when she was about 13 that she wished she was bigger, or mainly not so lanky with her long legs and arms. It surprised me because I thought all girls were pleased to be slim, but indeed, when you are constantly being commented on how skinny you are, you get self-conscious the same way you are when told you're fat.

She has put on a bit of weight since and now seems to be happy in her body, which is all what matters as long as she is healthy.
