Wide fit trainers for teenagers

Hi, my son has wide feet and can't seem to find any halfway decent trainers to wear. Can anyone recommend some? TIA

I have vey wide feet and I always wear Vans for trainers. Not the converse similar ones as they are narrow

If you go on the vans website (other shops sell them too) they are under men's skate shoes. Bit pricey but they last for so long as they have proper rubber soles

My wide-footed 11 year old.is currently wearing size 8 Nikes- may not be cool enough for a trendy teenager.tho!

Skate type shoes do tend to be a wider fit but sometimes it just looks like that because of the shape. New Balance tend to be narrow and I'd say adidas is medium. Sometimes though, all you need is to re-lace them a bit looser and they are fine. DS2 seemed wide footed as a child but his feet are narrow now so we've been through it all!
