Please help, i want to know what teen boys are wearing, budget of £70, for wearing out rather than sport.

The more i look, the more confused I get!

My 15 year olds after Nike Air Max 90's for Xmas. A bit over budget as they're £90 ConfusedI would ask him to show you a few pairs he likes, if he's anything like my DS he'll know exactly what he's after!

BertrandRussell · 11/12/2016 10:38

You have to ask him what he likes. My 15 year old likes Vans-but his friends like different brands and styles.

Peaceandl0ve · 11/12/2016 10:54

The problem is that i have tried asking in a not obvious way and he has shown me, however, i have become confused and cant remember which ones he likes now.

I will try and ask again and take more notice next time!

ask him again. If you guess and buy the wrong ones then chances are they will be flung under the bed and never worn.... £70 down the drain!

Trainers are a very personal thing so it seems. My teens have loads of trainers, but Adidas Stan Smiths, or Adidas Superstars might be a good bet.

jaykay34 · 11/12/2016 23:20

Adidas Superstars
Adidas Stan Smiths
Adidas ZX Flux
Adidas Gazelle

Nike Huarache
Nike Roshe Run
Nike Air Max 90

Puma Suede
Puma Basket

Badhairday1001 · 11/12/2016 23:23

My 15 year old wears Nike Air Max or Nike huarache.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 11/12/2016 23:24

My 16 yo likes Adidas ZX Flux and Adidas Superstars for everyday wear, but for smart casual he goes for Converse or Vans. You can design your own customised trainers on the Adidas website.

Agiraffeisnotacat · 11/12/2016 23:27

Yes our nearly 16yo requested adidas zx flux too. Got them for £58 on Amazon or they are £69 on the adidas site.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 11/12/2016 23:41

Try Zalando for a bargain - I got my DS his flux for his birthday there and think I paid £45.

puglife1 · 11/12/2016 23:48

Adidas Hamburg for my 15 yo son. Token trainers for a lad that goes to football matches so I'm told!

raspberrysuicide · 11/12/2016 23:50

Adidas Flux or Superstars

ChocoChou · 12/12/2016 00:10

Adidas NMD R1 something or others for my DS12. He also had on his list Nike Jordan's but the price of the Adidas was high enough Xmas Hmm

BigSandyBalls2015 · 12/12/2016 09:06

Adidas NMD here as well, sooo expensive!!

Kenworthington · 12/12/2016 09:11

Nike huaraches here. But they also have adidas superstars

twocockersarebetterthanone · 12/12/2016 09:17

Play it safe - get a JD sport gift card and let him choose??

Peaceandl0ve · 12/12/2016 09:35

Thanks for the responses, I will get him to show me again. Was just hoping that i might be able to remember which ones he had shown me from your answers!

He will most likely like

  • nikes
  • Addidas
-converse -Vans

Most teenage boys where them, some more fashionable boys would where dr martens.

VonHerrBurton · 13/12/2016 01:40

I think the 'in' styles vary massively depending on which part of the UK you're from! Therefore totally agree with jd/foot asylum gift card idea unless you can pin them down to preferences.

Very much zx flux/huaraches for my 14 year old but he wouldn't wear converse or vans.
