First love is happening in our house with my 16 year old and it's made me interested in first relationships.

How old was your DD/DS? How long did it last? How did it end? Was it serious or a fleeting thing? Would love to hear your experiences.

DS2, who is 15, isn't interested in anything other than football yet.

DD1 was 15, year 10. Lasted two years and he was great for her and really improved her self confidence. It ended about three months after he left for uni as long distance love wasn't working for them. DD2 was also 15, she's now 17 and they're still together. DS, twin of DD2, has been seeing girl for about six weeks now and seems pretty besotted. Prior to that he just did a lot of skateboarding and never bought a gf home 😂

Oh Jesus.

My thirteen year old daughter met a boy in theatre that she really liked, only problem is…he’s fifteen. He’s a lovely lad, though. Handsome as well.

But the age gap is driving me mad, so I always make them keep the doors open and I check in on them every once in a while. Shockingly it’s still going well, even after two or three months.

I fell in love at 16..God it was intense. Loved him as deeply as I've ever loved anyone since.
